Age Relaxation Claim Karne Ke Rules Aur Required Documents
Government jobs me standard maximum age limit hoti hai, lekin reserved categories, ex-servicemen, aur government employees ko upper age limit me chhoot (relaxation) milti hai. Problem tab aati hai jab candidates form me age relaxation 'Yes' kar dete hain, par document verification ke time unke paas valid proof nahi hota, jisse direct rejection ho jata hai. Is post me hum discuss karenge ki kis category ko kitni relaxation milti hai aur usko legitimately claim karne ke liye notification cut-off date ka kya role hota hai.
1. Common Age Relaxation Standards
- SC/ST category: Usually 5 years upper age limit me chhoot.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Usually 3 years ki chhoot.
- PwD (Persons with Disabilities): 10 saal (Unreserved), 13 saal (OBC), aur 15 saal (SC/ST).
- Ex-Servicemen: Military service deduct karne ke baad usually 3 years ka buffer milta hai.
2. The 'Crucial Date' Rule
Age hamesha notification me di gayi ek specific 'Crucial Date' (jaise 1st January ya form ki last date) ke hisab se count hoti hai. Agar aap us date par overage hain, tabhi aapko age relaxation claim karne ki zaroorat hai.
Relaxation claim karne ke liye aapka caste/PwD certificate us crucial date se pehle ka bana hona chahiye (ya notification ki validity conditions match karni chahiye).
3. Common Traps To Avoid
- General/EWS category candidates ko normally koi age relaxation nahi milti.
- Agar aap UR (Unreserved) age limit ke andar aate hain, to relaxation claim karne ki zaroorat nahi hai (form me 'No' kar sakte hain), par category SC/ST/OBC hi rahegi.
- OBC-Creamy layer ko UR (General) ki tarah treat kiya jata hai, unhe age relaxation nahi milti.
