Defense (CAPF, Army), Police aur Railways jaise exams me Medical fitness utni hi important hai jitna written exam. Agar medical board aapko kisi issue (jaise color blindness, knock knees, overweight) ke liye 'Unfit' declare kar de, to iska matlab exam ka the end nahi hota. Har candidate ko 'Re-Medical' ya 'Review Medical Board' me appeal karne ka haq (right) milta hai. Lekin iski timeline bahut short hoti hai. Aaiye samajhte hain appeal kaise file karni hai.
1. Unfit Ke Types: Temporary vs Permanent
- Temporary Unfit: Jaise overweight hona, recent surgery, ya minor infection. Isme aapko theek hone ke liye ek time (e.g., 4-6 hafte) diya jata hai.
- Permanent Unfit: Jaise color blindness, flat foot, ya vision mismatch. Isko clear karna tough hota hai, par human error ke case me aap appeal kar sakte hain.
2. Appeal Process (Step-by-Step)
Medical reject hone ke turant baad (usually within 15-30 days), aapko ek civil Govt Hospital ke specialist doctor se fitness certificate banwana hota hai ki 'Mere andar ye problem nahi hai'.
Ye certificate aur prescribed appeal fee ka Demand Draft/online payment reciept official address par bhejna hota hai. Time par receive hone par ek Review Board aapko dubara bulata hai.
3. Review Board Ka Faisla
- Review Medical Board me 3 senior doctors hote hain. Ye board aapka wahi test dobara rigorously karta hai.
- Review Board ka decision final hota hai. Agar wo 'Fit' karte hain, to joining process aage badhta hai. Agar wo 'Unfit' karte hain, to legal options (Court) ke alawa koi departmental option nahi bachta.
