Typing Skill Test: Haath Kaampna, Keyboard Layout Aur Ergonomics Kaise Manage Karein

Government jobs (SSC CHSL, High Court Clerks, EPFO) me Typing/Skill Test final hurdle (aakhiri badha) hota hai. Ghar par 40-45 WPM (Words Per Minute) ki speed nikalne wale candidates bhi exam center par 25 WPM par aakar fail ho jate hain. Iska sabse bada reason knowledge ya practice ki kami nahi hai; iska reason hai Exam Hall Anxiety (nervousness), haathon ka kaampna (hand shivering), aur unfamiliar keyboards. Ghar par hum mehnge mechanical ya laptop keyboards par practice karte hain, jabki exam center par saste, hard, aur awaz karne wale keyboards milte hain. Is post me hum 'Typing Ergonomics' aur psychological triggers par baat karenge. 1. Haath Kaampna (Hand Shivering) Kaise Rokein?

  • Shuruat ka Trap: Test start hone ke pehle 1 minute me pure hall me khat-khat ki tez awaz hoti hai, jisse candidate panic karke over-speeding karta hai aur errors hone lagti hain. Yahi time hai jab haath kaampte hain.
  • The 30-Second Rule: Starting ke 30 seconds jaanbuz kar slow aur 100% accurate type karein. Jab aapki screen par bina red marks (errors) ke lines dikhengi, to mind shant ho jayega aur uske baad muscle memory automatically speed catch kar legi.

Exam centers (jaise TCS iON) me aam taur par standard TVS Gold ya Acer/Dell ke hard-button keyboards hote hain. Laptop ke flat keys (chiclet keyboard) par practice karna chhod dein. Ghar par 300-400 rupaye wala ek basic desktop keyboard laakar practice karein taaki keys ko poora press karne ki aadat pade.

Chair aur desk ki height hamesha aapke hisab se adjust nahi hoti. Isliye practice karte waqt kabhi chair height thodi upar/neeche karke test dein, taaki wrist (kalai) ko kisi bhi angle par type karne ki aadat ho.

3. The 'Backspace' Psychology

Agar exam me backspace allowed hai, to har word me galti karke backspace marne ki aadat aapki actual speed ko 30% tak gira deti hai. Practice ke dauran software me backspace disable karke accuracy improve karein.

Focus aapka screen par text (matter) ko padhne par hona chahiye, na ki apne type kiye hue letters ko baar baar verify karne par. Aankhein source text par aur ungliyan keyboard par—yahi true touch typing ka mantra hai.
