Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially released the Winter Bound Admit Card for Class 6 admissions through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 on 16 March 2026. The Winter Bound exam is scheduled in March 2026. The Summer Bound exam was already conducted on 13 December 2025 (Admit Card released 17 November 2025). The Winter Bound exam is for specific states/regions that follow a different academic calendar. Candidates can download their Winter Bound Admit Card using their Registration Number and Date of Birth from the official NVS admission portal at navodaya.gov.in. There is absolutely NO application fee for any candidate — NVS Class 6 admissions are completely free to apply.

🎯NVS Class 6 JNVST 2025 – Selection Process

• Entrance Test (JNVST) — Written entrance test — Summer Bound (13 December 2025) and Winter Bound (March 2026). Tests Mental Ability, Arithmetic, Language skills at Class 5 level.
• Merit-Based Selection — Students are shortlisted based on JNVST score — maintaining rural area reservation and gender/SC/ST/OBC/PwD quotas as per NVS norms.
• Counselling — Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification and counselling.
• Final Admission — Final admission to Class 6 for academic session 2026–27 after successful document verification.

1. Open your browser and go to the official NVS website: https://navodaya.gov.in/NVS.html
2. On the homepage, find the 'Admit Card / Download' section under JNVST 2025
3. Click on 'NVS Class 6 Winter Bound Admit Card 2026' link
4. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
5. Fill in the captcha code if required
6. Click on the Submit / Login button
7. Your Winter Bound Admit Card will appear on screen — verify candidate's name, roll number, exam date, centre address
8. Download the PDF and print it out
9. Note: Admit card will NOT be sent by post — online download is the only way to get it
10. Carry printed admit card to the Winter Bound exam centre on the allotted exam date
