Provides emergency financial assistance to BPL and low-income families facing crisis due to medical emergency, natural disaster or sudden income loss. Amount varies based on nature of emergency. Chief Minister's Relief Fund is also accessible for urgent humanitarian cases.
Provides occupation-specific toolkits worth Rs 40,000 to SC artisans and self-employed individuals for 27 different trades. Family income must be below Rs 1.20 Lakh per annum. Aims to enhance productivity and self-reliance of SC artisans through quality tools and equipment.
Provides housing assistance to Scheduled Caste BPL families in Gujarat for construction of pucca houses. Named after Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Grant amount is provided in installments based on construction progress. Ensures basic shelter rights for marginalized SC communities.
Provides housing grant of Rs 1.5 Lakh to landless SC/ST BPL families for construction of pucca house. Can be combined with PM Awas Yojana for enhanced benefit. Aims to provide dignified housing to marginalized communities and eliminate kutcha house living conditions.
Provides maternity benefit of Rs 6,000 in 3 installments to pregnant and lactating women for first live birth. Aims to compensate for wage loss during pregnancy and improve nutrition of mother and child. Implemented through Anganwadi centers across Gujarat.
Promotes safe institutional delivery by providing free maternity services at empanelled hospitals. BPL mothers and high-risk pregnancies get Rs 1,400 cash incentive under Janani Suraksha Yojana. Private empanelled hospitals also provide free delivery services to BPL women.
Comprehensive program for prevention, control and treatment of Sickle Cell Disease prevalent among tribal communities of Gujarat. Provides free screening, diagnosis, counseling, treatment and medicines. Financial assistance to affected patients for expensive treatments like bone marrow transplant.
Provides post-matric scholarships to minority students (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi) of Gujarat for Class 11-12, graduation, post-graduation and PhD. Family income must be below Rs 2 Lakh per annum. Covers monthly maintenance allowance for both hostellers and day scholars.
Provides pre-matric (Class 1-10) scholarships to SC/ST students studying in government and aided schools. For Class 1-8 there is no income limit; for Class 9-10 income must be below Rs 47,000 (rural) or Rs 68,000 (urban). Covers maintenance allowance and study materials.
Provides financial assistance and business toolkits to members of De-Notified Tribes (DNT), Nomadic Tribes and Semi-Nomadic communities of Gujarat for self-employment. Maximum assistance of Rs 1 Lakh including ITI/skill-based tools. Aims to bring marginalized wandering communities into economic mainstream.
Holistic welfare program for tribal communities of Gujarat covering education, health, livelihood, housing and infrastructure development. Provides converged benefits from multiple departments under single program. Budget of over Rs 15,000 crore for overall tribal development.
Provides free bicycles to ST girl students enrolling in Class 9 to reduce school dropouts due to long distances. Particularly focuses on tribal areas where secondary schools are far from villages. Aims to encourage continuation of education beyond Class 8 among tribal girls.
