Incentive scheme where residents who plant trees get free electricity units. For every 10 trees planted and maintained, beneficiary gets 100 units of free electricity per month. Aims to increase green cover while reducing electricity burden on households.
Provides up to 200 units of free electricity per month to domestic consumers of Jharkhand. Aims to provide relief to low and middle-income households from rising electricity costs. Excess consumption beyond 200 units is charged at normal tariff rates.
