Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) was established to act as a nodal agency for all skill-related activities in the state of Bihar. Is mission ka mukhya maqsad Bihar ke manpower ko world-class training dena hai taaki woh sirf Bihar hi nahi balki duniya bhar mein kaam kar sakein. BSDM sirf computer training tak simit nahi hai, balki isme domain-specific courses bhi hain jaise Healthcare, Construction, Textiles, Beauty & Wellness, aur Hospitality. Bihar mein berozgari ki samasya ko door karne ke liye sarkar ne har block level par training centers kholne ka lakshya rakha hai. BSDM ensures that the youth get industry-relevant skills so they can find jobs easily or start their own business ventures. Mission ka vision hai 'Skilled Bihar, Prosperous Bihar'. Isme alag-alag vibhagon (Departments) ki training schemes ko ek chhat ke niche laya gaya hai. Training ke baad placement support bhi diya jata hai taaki trained youth ko sahi jagah naukri mil sake. BSDM ka dhyan rural areas par zyada hai kyunki wahan ke bacchon ke paas resources kam hote hain. Government is provides free of cost or highly subsidized training to ensure every segment of society is included. Is mission ke tehat curriculum ko industry experts ke dwara design kiya gaya hai jo har saal update hota hai. Jharkhand aur Bihar jaise states mein skill gap ek badi chunaoti rahi hai, aur BSDM usi gap ko bharne ka kaam kar raha hai. Programs like KYP are also monitored by BSDM to ensure quality standards. By integrating technology and vocational training, BSDM is building a foundation for a modern and self-reliant Bihar where every young person is capable of earning a dignified livelihood through their skills.
