Govt Job Me Probation Period Kya Hota Hai? Rules Aur Reality
Joining letter milte hi candidates sochte hain ki ab job 100% secure ho gayi, lekin actual confirmation 2 saal (kuch jobs me 1 ya 3 saal) ke 'Probation Period' ke baad hoti hai. Probation ek tarah ka trial period hai jahan aapki performance, behavior aur discipline observe kiya jata hai. Is period me govt aapko bina koi lambi legal notice diye job se nikal (terminate) sakti hai agar performance bilkul hi poor ho. Probation ka real meaning aur iske dauran apply hone wale rules samajhna naye joiners ke liye bahut zaroori hai.
1. Probation Me Kya Check Hota Hai?
- Aapki punctuality, senior se behavior, aur work learning capacity.
- Kayi departments me probation ke dauran 'Departmental Exams' hote hain jinhe paas karna mandatory hota hai.
- Police/Defense me physical fitness aur training standards ko maintain rakhna padta hai.
2. Leaves Aur Salary In Probation
Salary: Central govt jobs me probation me puri salary aur allowances milte hain. Lekin kuch state govts (jaise Rajasthan) probation ke dauran sirf fix pay (stipend) deti hain, aur confirmation ke baad full salary start hoti hai.
Leaves: Probation me usually casual leaves (CL) milti hain, lekin lambi chhutti (Earned Leave/LWP) lene se probation period aage extend ho sakta hai.
3. Probation Extension Ya Termination
- Agar candidate departmental exam fail kar jaye ya performance theek na ho, to probation 6 mahine ya 1 saal extend kar diya jata hai.
- Misconduct, fake documents pakde jane, ya multiple warnings ke baad hi generally termination hota hai, warn kiye bina nahi.
